01 — Context
Punch is a multi-sided platform developed by the Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB), open to every local entrepreneur, from micro businesses to mid-market enterprises. We led the UX design of the platform on web and mobile: a friendly community where business owners make meaningful connections and find the inspiration, tools, expertise and financing they need to grow.
02 — The problem
Three audiences with different goals had to meet in one place: entrepreneurs looking to grow, professional service firms offering their expertise, and investors looking for good projects. Each needed its own way in, without splitting the community.
03 — The solution
One platform with a dedicated path for each audience — entrepreneurs, growth partners and investors — around shared features: company pages, content and tools, business health checks, Growth Cards and Growth Plans.
04 — What we did
01
We mapped the journeys of entrepreneurs, growth partners and investors, from discovering Punch to their first connection.
02
We designed the SME platform for web and mobile: sign-up, company pages, the member directory and the services each audience uses.
03
We set up the design system behind Punch’s bold, friendly identity, so every new feature stays consistent across web and mobile.
04
We tested the key flows with real users and refined the design from what we learned.
05 — What we delivered
06 — Outcome
Punch gives MCB a single place where local entrepreneurs, growth partners and investors find each other, built on a design system that keeps the platform consistent as it grows.
